POWER FLAME HISTORY:
1948
The Siemon & Company was founded by Charles Jones, John Douglas, and Dick Siemon.
1950
Developed product in the commercial/ industrial sizes between 300,000 and 12,000,000 Btu/hr.
1951
Power Flame® brand name was launched with the introduction of a first high efficiency gas burner.
1962
Power Flame was the first company to build a UL listed dual fuel fired atmospheric in-shot burner.
1969
Charles Jones sold the company to Combustion Equipment Associates (CEA).
1972
Bill Wiener was hired to move the company to Parsons, KS (current headquarters).
1975 – Present

Bill & Louisa Wiener purchased Power Flame® Inc.
1988
First reliable sub 30 Low NOx products were created by Power Flame.

Various product lines were introduced which lowered NOx emissions for Power Flame equipment as low as sub 5 PPM.
1996
First laser cutting machine added to the manufacturing plant at Power Flame.
1997
Office and Research & Development space expansion at Power Flame.
2003
NVC Sub 9 NOx burner released by Power Flame.
2004
Cmax burner line introduced by Power Flame.
2012
Low NOx burner line expanded with the release of the UCM burner
2016
Power Flame Inc. was purchased by Astec Industries
2019
EVO <30 PPM Non-FGR gas burner released by Power Flame
2022
K7 Oil Flow Control Valve for #2 oil and B20 introduced and UL listed
