Power Flame’s K7 Flow Control Valve features a single-piece final assembly that minimizes hysteresis for reliable performance and improved flow accuracy. This high-quality valve can operate in both a Clockwise (CW) or Counterclockwise (CCW) direction, allowing it to be biorotational.

  • Offers improved flow accuracy thanks to a single piece final assembly which over comes hysteresis.
  • Operates in both a Clock Wise (CW) or Counter Clock Wise (CCW) direction allowing it to be bi-directional.
  • Operates with #2 fuel oil, B20 Bio-diesel, and liquid propane.

Flow Control Valve Model Types

The K7 Flow Control Valve comes in two body sizes: 3” and 4” in diameter. There are multiple sizes within each body size. 

A variety of models are available, each with their own oil capacity limits.

Types of Fuels

The valve will operate with the following fuels: 

  • #2 Fuel Oil
  • B20 Biodiesel
  • Liquid Propane

The 3” model is UL listed for #2 fuel oil and B20. It is also compatible with B100 when used with a UL B100 Power Flame Burner. The K7-3-X valve will handle up to 900 BHP.

Installation

The K7 valve comes with a conversion kit for easy installation.

  1. Power down the burner, shut off the fuel supply, and follow the lockout/tagout procedure.
  2. Remove the burner linkage.
  3. Remove the fuel lines and u-bolt from the flow control valve.
  4. If needed, remove the oil pressure gauge.
  5. Remove the piping and existing burner flow control valve.
  6. Install the piping and the new K7 Flow Control Valve (liquid thread sealant required to prevent warranty void).
  7. Replace the fuel lines.
  8. After replacing the linkage and recommission burner, test the system for leaks.
