Basic Combustion Class; 101

Our two-day Basic Combustion Class; 101 is our most popular class and the best class to start with. It goes over the fundamentals of combustion, safe burner start-up, and adjustment. The majority of the class consists of hands-on training in our training facility with several different burner and boiler packages. We also cover linkage adjustment and touch on parallel positioning.

This training pairs very well with our Basic Controls and Troubleshooting Class; 102.

Basic Controls and Troubleshooting Class; 102

Our two-day Basic Controls and Troubleshooting Class; 102 is a new great starter stand-alone class or a perfect pair with our Basic Combustion Training. It goes over our most common basic flame safeguard controls. Much of the class consists of hands-on troubleshooting electrical and gas train issues on our different burner and control packages. We are able to simulate the most common issues that techs will see in the field and help you navigate to quickly identify and solve the issue using a voltmeter and monometers.

Cmax Burner Training; 201

Our two-day Cmax Training; 201 covers Power Flame’s Cmax burner installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Majority of the class consists of hands-on training. Attending the Basic Combustion Class is recommended before enrolling in this course.

Director SCS Controls Class; 202

Our two-day Director SCS Class; 202 covers the complete start-up and commissioning of the Power Flame Director SCS, a fully integrated PLC Control System, powered by Honeywell SLATE. The course curriculum includes theory as well as hands-on training. Attending the Basic Combustion Class is recommended before enrolling in this course.
